COURSE DESCRIPTION

Welcome to English for Hotel Management!

This course is designed to develop the English language skills needed to communicate effectively in hotel and hospitality settings.

Throughout the course, we will work with hotel-related vocabulary, useful expressions, grammar, reading, listening, writing and speaking activities.

You will learn how to communicate in different areas of a hotel, including the front desk, reservations, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services. You will also practice situations such as welcoming guests, checking guests in and out, taking reservations, answering phone calls, providing information, describing hotel facilities and services, and dealing with common guest requests.

The course focuses on practical and professional English, helping you build the language skills necessary for communication in the hotel industry.

DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA MATERIA

¡Bienvenidos a Inglés para Hotelería!

Esta materia está orientada al desarrollo de las habilidades en inglés necesarias para comunicarse eficazmente en ámbitos hoteleros y de hospitalidad.

A lo largo del curso trabajaremos con vocabulario específico de hotelería, expresiones útiles, gramática y actividades de lectura, escucha, escritura y expresión oral.

Aprenderán a comunicarse en diferentes áreas de un hotel, incluyendo el front desk, reservas, housekeeping, alimentos y bebidas y atención al huésped. También practicarán situaciones como recibir huéspedes, realizar check-in y check-out, tomar reservas, atender llamadas telefónicas, brindar información, describir las instalaciones y servicios del hotel y responder a solicitudes habituales de los huéspedes.

La materia se centra en el inglés práctico y profesional, ayudándolos a desarrollar las habilidades lingüísticas necesarias para comunicarse en el ámbito hotelero.
